FIRMWARE UPDATE
PREPARE
- First, prepare a suitable 9V DC center-negative power supply with at least 250 mA or higher. Daisy-chain power solutions are not recommended.
- Then, close any applications that may be using MIDI, such as DAWs or other MIDI controllers.
- And have a USB-C cable ready to connect your AUTO M-Type pedal to your computer.
CONNECT
- Connect your AUTO Series pedal to a suitable power supply while holding both footswitches.
- The dynamic LED bar will show a rolling animation, confirming that the pedal has entered firmware update mode.
- Use a USB-C cable to connect the AUTO Series pedal to your computer.
- Your computer’s operating system may (and may not, no worries about that) notify you that a new MIDI device - your AUTO Pedal - has been connected.
- And depending on your browser, check if any pop-ups are asking you to enable the MIDI sysex messages.

Plasma Voice firmware update instruction
- Connect the Auto Pedal in firmwave update mode by powering on Auto Pedal with USB-C while holding down both footswitches
- If the dynamics LED bar shows rolling animation, that means that the device has entered the firmware update mode.
- Now press the connect button in the Firmware update screen above.
- After connecting, you will see the available firmwaves for your pedal. If the pedal fails to connect, start the procedure from the beginning.
- Select the desired firmware and press the Update Auto Pedal button. Dont close the tab while firmware update is in progress!
- When the update finishes the Auto Pedal should start working normaly.
Are you sure you want to cancel the update.
If you cancel an update that is in progress, you will have to repeat the whole update procedure.
